Anyone wanting to get a 'custom mixed' colour may want to try these folk:- www.autopaintsbrighton.co.uk.
Took my front forks that I had managed to scrape off the hammerite and reveal the green original colour, they mixed my paint in 2 hours and by the dab they put next to the sample is a good match.
The 2 hours was a bit of a surprise because they normally want 48 hours and then they post the paint to you. However as my sample was on a big lump of metal and I had travelled from Oxfordshire, he said he would do it in 2 hours for me, to save me having to pay huge postage or returning to pick it up.
Brilliant service, and can make it in various paint types, although I stuck with good old cellulose myself.
Cheers
Colin
