DMW type front axle nuts

The HJH I am restoring has DMW type leading link forks. Instead of normal front axle nuts, it uses long chrome nuts, which when removed, allow the front wheel, complete with axle and brake assembly to slot straight out. Unfortunately, the left one is stripped almost to the bottom of the thread. They can't be replaced with anything different. Does anyone know where I might get a replacement pair? Provided the thread is ok, the general appearance doesn't matter.
Any suggestions?
