Ranger front mudguard stay

The tubes have now had the attachment plates tacked on ready to braze.
I still do not understand why every front mudguard stay I have seen has the triangular mounting plate on the top and the Ranger has it on the bottom.

shown on the Anglian Enduro, which has the same forks as the Ranger so hopefully they will work okay.





I used one on the Grumph as the mudguard always seems to get knocked out of position and these stop that happening.
