I broke one of the rings on my 32a engine. The piston is a hepolite plus 60 oversize. Rang round the usual sources without success. My NOS, hepolite plus 60 oversize piston, had no rings.
I talked to the local Engine shop, who has done my engine work over the years.
He got two sets made, from a company in the States.
56 quid for two sets and postage, from memory.
Thought the price wasn't to bad.
That was a couple of years ago.

If you guys get stuck again I highly recommend "Piston Broke" in bristol. I did a scott engine last year ans scott rings are as rare as hens teeth, he was able to sort me out from stock for £12 set !! there no is 01179412300 good luck.Comment

Piston broke owner steve is a knowledgeable guy, but is notoriously slow, for completeing work, i don`t use him any more for that fact, but horses for courses, if he has what you want off the shelf, then job`s a good un.....
