I found this website with new Challenger, MDS and Hawkstone seats for sale with steel base at 85 quid a pop. Thought it might help some one with their restoration project. Adrian Moss, who runs Rickman Motorcycles fitted a new cover and sponge filling to the original seatbase on my 36 MX4. I have used it for classic scrambles over the last two years and it is comfortable and still looks good.
No complaints from me!
