  • Another villiers? ID needed

In discussion with a fellow enthusiast from Sydney, he mentioned he had an old engine which he thinks is a villiers, and asked me to identify it. It looks a lot like a 12C with twin exhaust stubs, but has a separate cyl head. Bore is approx 66mm, stroke 75mm.
    Engine no AXF 3316
    Barrell is lettered XV1A.
It has a squish piston, and the cyl head is 3 bolted.
I wouldn't have a clue what it is!
    Any ideas?

Thanks very much from both of us, John. My friend still doesn't know what to do with it, but at least he knows what it is now.
