  • Villiers History - 'Grace's Guide'/British Industrial History.

Also stumbled across this today, a cracking 'overview' of Villiers manufacturing history with some terrific illustrations and literature; http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Villiers

There are quite a few on here that I've never seen before, including some lovely period examples of Villiers advertising and product information.

Click on any of the pics on the right of the screen for a larger view.

Well done Brian (yet again!). A while ago, I bought a very nice hardback book on the Villiers WW2 contribution, produced just after the war. What a proud engineering heritage we had then only to be swept away in the fullness of time. On the plus side, I wouldn't have my workshop equipment if all the factories hadn't gone to the wall, they would still be using it!
