Screw for kickstart lever cover

Hi, Can anyone tell me the correct size/type of thread that fixes the end cover
(Villiers part # E.8479) to the kickstart shaft on a 3T and on the single 4 speed gearboxes? It could be either 3/16" BSF or 2 BA, any help would be appreciated.
