  • R145 A147 Aluminium 9E style Flywheel

Can anybody please tell me what the aluminium 9E style R145 A147 flywheel was used on.It weighs 3 1/2 lbs instead of the brass approx 6 lbs,and is 5 5/8" dia instead of 6" dia ,and is 1 11/16" deep instead of 1 1/2" deep. The fixing taper is also different. Thanks

    Stuart ,

It is off an industrial Villiers engine , probably a lawnmower engine .

      Hi Chris and Stuart.

I have one myself...and all these years I thought maybe it was a special made up for a RAS Silverstone.
