Anybody use fin vibration damper blocks? If yes what is your chosen insert?

Rubber blocks that fitted between the cylinder barrel fins to stop 'ringing' I dont think Greeves fitted them, they were fitted to many Japanese and continental two strokes to quieten engine noise

I fitted some on a Silverstone to try and reduce engine noise. Cut down Cush drive rubbers, seemed to quieten it down slightly.

My ex-Army Can-Am has a great number, probably to keep the motor as quiet as possible.

Agree with Brian Catt. My ex Army CanAm with the Rotax motor was deafening without them!

I have them fitted to my square barrel Greeves 250 - pieces of black fuel hose pushed between the fins

                They do help
