Any opinions please on a torque number to tighten down the cylinder head on
    a 380 Griffon? Thanks Andrew

You need to get a copy of the Greeves Maintenance Manual for Griffons.
I bought mine from e-Bay on a CD, complete with the parts manual.

You may be able to get these publications from the GRA.

The book says that "a torque wrench set to 22ft lb should be used on the nuts securing the magneto rotor, cylinder head and clutch centre."

      Torque

      Thanks John
I'll use 22ft lbs. I also have the CD you refer to but missed or didn't bother to take notice of the content. Andrew

Hi Andrew - if you use 22lb ft...as per factory manual........after first ride - when cooled - make sure you re-torque head. ..........then you should be fine
