250cc 2-stroke racing machine, frame no. 24RAS192
The current owner writes: “Recently acquired in bits. Believed to have been bought in December 1963 from Minnear and Brown for the Francis Beart Race School. The engine has Alpha crankcases and a non-standard ‘square’ barrel. It will be rebuilt to as-new, so I am on the hunt for the correct seat, barrel, head and exhaust.”
The machine is owned by Andy Blackman and is located in North Somerset.
