250cc 2-stroke racing machine, frame no. 24RAS122

This machine according to factory records was the first off and was made in the autumn of 1962. It was raced by Mark Sharrock and David Whitehouse and with a 197cc engine won the CRMC 200 Championship and three Classic Race of Year events. In 2004 it returned to 246cc and with Lee Moore won the 250 historic and Champion of Champions Vintage Championships. It also had three wins at Chimay in Belgium and has held race and lap records at most circuits in Britain.

The machine is owned by Paul Atkins and is located in Merseyside.
