A word of warning to anyone thinking of switching from Flickr to Ipernity. Although Ipernity appears to be a more freindly photo hosting site than the 'new' Flickr there is one major drawback. As a regular (freeby) member you will NOT BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD YOUR PICS AGAIN once uploaded to the site. Luckily in my case they were not important pics, if you do want to use Ipernity then make sure you back up your photos else where, do not rely on Ipernity as sole storage. Also it means you cannot download other peoples pics even if they have not restricted them. The moral here is dont jump out of the frying pan into the fire, all is not greener on the other side of the hill
