  • Triumph Greeves for sale

In this special the frame is a 1958 Hawkstone Scrambler mated with a 500 unit Triumph engine

The Frame has been in my for 46 years (registered 1974) and the engine (1959) almost as long, and its V5 class has been noted as Historic but the project was only completed in 2019 with a view to an entry in one of the Motorcycling clubs Long distance trials in mind. Unfortunately the current pandemic stopped all those events being held and has also necessitated the disposal of the machine

The engine is fitted with a new pazon ignition system and a GPS speedometer. Due to the circumstances the machine has only covered under 100 miles and has been in store for this year

and although the engine was rebuilt at least 15 years ago by RJM it is not yet run it, Trial runs indicate the gearing is too low and the plot could benefit with further development which is why I have first advertised in this forum who helped me in the past year or so .With all this in mind I am asking just £3500 I will advertise to a wider audience in the next few weeks
