  • Electronic ignition

When i first put my bike together, largely from bits mostly TFS, I used the elctronic ignition off a TS250 Suzuki - mainly as I had no Villiers 9E flywheels as my Dad had weighed them all in. I later upgraded to the trials Suzuki version the RL250. This has worked well for many years but recently has picked up a bit of a misfire which swopping the CDI did not clear. So, eventually I bit the bullet and bought the electrix World version from Villiers Services. I got the proper trials one, but did not intend to fit the extra !.5Kg flywheel weight as I didn't think I needed it. But, riding round the garden the engine was very easy to stall so in desperation more than anything else I fitted the weight (easy job) and what a transformation. Much better tickover, stalling gone and the exhaust note is less harsh, even won my class last time out
