Engine has been rebuilt by Gary B, a lot of care and attention has gone in to it. Why it had an extra plug I don’t know however it might be needed one day.

The reproduction rack has just been powder coated 'chrome'. I did not want the expense of chrome plating so I thought I would give this try. Quite a good result, particularly in the sunlight, not for purists and show bikes but a much cheaper (£25.00) alternative to plating.

Why is there a switch on the rear light?

Regulation in the USA at the time that when parked it should have a rear light on. There is a small battery holder just under the front of the seat which held the very small battery.

This sticker would be on the frame.

Just managed to find a 12volt 5AH battery that sits nicely under the seat - it should keep the LED lights going for a while - particularly as Elextrex world coils are not known for generating much- if any amps.

Big thanks to Gary Bamford(and Michael) for the help in getting the Ranger nearly ready to ride. I have a 5ah battery under the seat which runs the LED lights,Led indicators and horn - hopefully the Elextrex world will generate some charge to top the battery up.
The tank is the last thing to sort, the worst of the dents have been removed however it will still need filling to get to a decent condition for spraying.
