challenger mx4 steering stop

Hi all….finished fitting the leading link forks and they touch the front of the tank on full lock is there a lock stop to prevent this.any help appreciated

If the forks are anything like those on the Silverstone there will be a couple of threaded holes just above the bottom yoke. These take 1/4 whitworth screws and locknuts which act as the lock stops, striking the frame casting just behind the lower headstock bearing. Of course, there are a lot of differences between the Challenger and the road racers, but it will be easy for you to check to see if that aspect is similar.

Correction......they may be 1/4 BSF now I think about it.
