  • Works scrambles machines

We see a fair bit about the works trials machines, and they're often easy to identify in photos because of the registration plates (although it is known that the registration plates may on occasion be used on different machines if required).

But what about the works scramblers? Are many known to survive? I know of a few MDS models (Triss Sharp, Badger Goss, Joe Johnson), and the odd Challenger and Griffon.

Do any early Challengers or genuine Bickers bikes survive?

It's a well-documented bike, Ian. See p 142 of the Osprey Greeves book by Carrick and Walker. There's also a picture of it on p 161.
