The kickstart on my Greeves 250 Griffon rotates in a clockwise direction, with no stop, without stripping it down could anyone point me in the right direction for a fix, i have renewed the return spring no change.

Hi, if you take the outer cover off, just above the kick start shaft, at about 10.0clock, you will see a Cheesehead screw that holds a lock stop on the inner side of the casing.
you will have to remove the casing, but don’t forget that the nut on the main shaft is a left hand thread. -
