I just stripped my rear wheel down to polish the hub then re-lace with new spokes. My question is when polishing the hub is it just the center section that is polished? It looks like the area where the spoke holes are is either just a cast finish on the brake side and a machined finish on the other side. A close up picture would help if someone has one. Thanks in advance.
