  • Illustrated parts books

I have recently bought a Greeves which John Wakefield tells me is a 24DB and is fitted with a Villiers 2T engine. I have restored/modified several Triumph,BSA and Royal Enfields and found the illustrated parts books to be invaluable but am struggling to find any for the 24DB cycle parts.,my question is are there any and if so where would I find them?
Any help would be much appreciated David

As far as I know no, no illustrated parts books are available for the bike, although the User Manuals do have some diagrams & drawings, and there are illustrations in the 2T Villiers engine Parts Book (available from Villiers Services & other sources). As for the actual parts themselves a limited number of repro parts are made and sold by the members/suppliers listed in the LL the only other source is used parts from autojumbles. eBay, OBM etc. Sadly many of these are over priced by people who think they are sitting on the 'crown jewels'. You could also put an advert for the parts you require in LL, that way you will reach ALL members, many who never look in on the forum.
    Best of luck.

Thanks John, fortunately at present no parts are needed but as I said an illustrated parts book is very useful if available. However the changes I am planning to make can be done with proprietory parts such as mudguards ,brackets and adaptors which I can make or modify myself.
