  • The DCX maybe as Greeves should have built them

Bumped into Ben Taylor at Dick Dunkley's funeral and he showed me some pics of his DCX (25DCX209) which he had new from Claude Scott of Cambridge in 1964. Many years later with my help Ben found the bike (or what was left of it) with Villiers Services. He bought the remains and rebuilt it to the high spec you see it in these pics. Alloy tank, Silverstone front brake, racing seat. Ben has rebuilt it as he wanted it, maybe Greeves should have done the same with the originals!

Very nice, especially like all the alloy bits. Surprised no one does alloy exhaust retainers
