  • 25DC bitzer

This bike frame number 61/3044 has just been acquired by a Mathew Roper of Norwich, he was asking on FB what it is? Well if he joins the GRA he may well find out more about it to his advantage. Looks like someone has tried to make it into a grass track bike, no engine fitted just a rolling chassis. Engine plates look to fit a 9E or 30 series single.

It had a Starmaker engine in one photo.

Frame number not in dispatch record. Stamping's a mess, but could it actually be 60/3044? If so the beam is 24DB, however the rear subframe is a DC item.

        "Bitza" sums it up accurately.

As there are other known 25DC's on either side of 3044 (61/3037 an 61/3047 looks like 3044 was an exported bike. As you say Colin poor stamping but looking closely it does look like 61/3044 and that was the general consensus of the facebook members when it first appeared on there.
