    The 4T like the 2T can be smokey but usually clears after a mile our so at around 40/50 mph. I run mine at 25 : 1 on standard mineral oil and would not recommend going below this particularly when running in. Also I would not recommend fully synthetic oils at 40 :1. If you want to risk a piston seizure (at £100 a time) thats up to you, personally I like to see a bit of smoke as that proves the oil is getting round. Incidentally Villiers recommended 20:1.

    Did you manage to retain the reg 192 MAR ?

        All complete now, changed the needle setting and she runs a treat on 25.1, managed to get it registered with the original number plate thanks to Colin an John's advice. Just need to get it insured and some decent weather. Thanks for all the help.
