Fuel tanks

I had an aluminium tank handmade for my Harley by a specialist near Christchurch in Dorset - he is very experienced and making aluminium bike tanks is all he does. He would copy a Silverstone tank off a fiberglass one so we would need to supply a donor. However a one-off tank would be very expensive. If four or five of us clubbed together it could work out a bit more affordable. Let me know. Rene

One of my Silverstone machines has an alloy tank fitted. This was on the bike when purchased so I am unsure of the manufacturer.

I think that Rene Chinnery may have been looking into getting a batch of alloy tanks made. I may be interested myself depending on whether I can render my existing tanks leak proof.
