I just thought I’d post this in case it’s helpful to anyone. I wanted to paint a cheap chain tensioner I’d fitted in the same colour as the bike (‘63 Scottish) so searched these forums for paint colour information.
Someone said it’s not a boat ride from Hammerite blue so I bought a little tin of that. It was a bit bright. But I happened to have an old tin of their black, so I mixed the two together and got closer to the moorland blue on my bike than I ever thought I would. I’d say it’s about 4:1 ratio but I didn’t measure it.
