Good evening everyone,
John here from Bedfordshire. I have recently purchased a Greeves frame to be the basis of my next project. I hope the purists don't shoot me down but the bike will sit on Montesa wheels and forks and be powered by a BSA B40 engine. I will go for a 'traditional' look with silver frame and have already ordered a tank and side panels from Roger Ennis in British racing green.
I believe the frame is a 1967 MX4 Challenger, the frame number being 36 MX4 C148. I intend building this into a road bike but don't have a V5, is there anyway I can tell if the frame had ever been registered for the road?
Next step is to join the club and I look forward to learning more about my bike and Greeves in general.
