  • TLS Front brake

Saw a Greeves yesterday at Midway Truck Stop , Whichurch, with a Japanese Twin leading shoe front brake installed. Only problem was that it was mounted with the backplate on the right making it a Twin Trailing Shoe brake. Didn't see the owner.

How about this twin leading shoe conversion to a BHC hub from a MDS ,hidden inside brake plate.

Problem with that set up is that the shoes are not pivotting on the trailing edge so the whole shoe is pushed outwards. Cannot see it working very efficiently.

I had a big 2LS on my Honda CB 92...Far too efficient on wet roads. It had me off twice, I even dis-adjusted it to make it more user-friendly. The self-servo action was seeming to want to add more braking than needed.
