I have received this pic from a member asking if I can identify what bike it comes from. Normally they have a single stud fixing for brake anchor arm, bit this one has a triangular steel plate, apart from Greeves they were also fitted to Cotton, Sprite and also the lightweight AJS & Matchless 250cc & 350cc singlesClick image for larger version Name:	DSCF0003 (1).JPG Views:	1 Size:	470.1 KB ID:	76736.

I have one, John, but without the triangular plate. The grubby one is the Greeves version, the shiny one the Cotton. You can see from inside the brakeplate that they start out as the same castings, just being machined differently. It would not be difficult to convert the Cotton-spec one to suit a Greeves.
