Hello everyone, I recently got a 1967 Silverstone. There are about two and a half engines in bits. The one I wish to rebuild just says Greeves on the cases. I need a big end and both journals because of rust damage but I do not know what to ask for (Alpha, Villiers, Greeves). Is there a book I can buy or a person I could talk to to solve these mysteries. Also I need a complete clutch, where do I look? Thanks in advance. Willie.

Hi WIllie, yeah simons good, I buy all my crank pins & bearings from villiers services, they carry rods as well, terry Sewell at TDS is another one to try.
Don’t know your situation, but I charge a mere £50 to split, fit new parts & retrue single cranks, should you need it.
