While trying to find out about Floating brake plates (Googling) I somehow came across this article in Dirt Bike from 1st April 1983 .Quite an intresting read.

Brilliant article Simon - very amusing - but also some interesting comparison's.........and interesting that 250 mx bikes don't get any lighter as they get newer...my 2006 YZ250f weighs about the same as the 83 Honda and the 69 Griffon !!..........
