I had a call from a guy in London yesterday, found my number on the net, he wanted to know where to get Greeves LL fork bushes. I told him to contact Villiers Services who now supply them in both 45 & 50 shore hardness.
I then asked him what Greeves he had, but he told me he did not have a bike but was a design engineer working on a prototype electric motor cycle for a client, he apologised that he could not say more due to customer confidentiality etc.
So if this bike materialises & goes into production then it may be good news for Greeves owners. The bushes would then be a readily available spare for the bike which hopefully produced in 1000's would bring the price down from the current £95 per pair to a far cheaper figure.
Of course in the normal run of things it may never happen, or the design will change.
