Today's Red Tape trial featured no less than 7 Greeves in the entry. In addition, Clerk of the Course was GRA member and Anglian owner Chris Brown ably assisted by another GRA member, Scottish-riding Peter Meek.
GRA members riding were John Pattison, Martin Kemp, Derek Bentley, Dick Faggetter and myself.
GRA member and TFS-owning (but not yet sorted) Jack Chalk was spectating!
Unfortunately, I was on my Royal Enfield 350 but at least I wore a GRA jersey and the bike thought it was a 2-stroke, smoking badly and eating plugs!
Biggest sinner was Dangerous Dick who rode a modern pogo-stick thingy AND on the easy sections!
All in all, a great turnout of Greeves and GRA members.
Chris made an exceptional job of the sections, all straightforward and safe, tricky enough to take marks but very enjoyable.
If more events were organised like this, I would ride every weekend I could!
