One a Scottish with odd looking exhaust, and the other an NSU Greeves. Were they members bikes? (pics from 'geoff the bonnie' on IKBA)

The Scottish has a sidecar attached, not obvious from that photo, and looked like it had an AMC bottom end with Villiers barrel and head. A bit 'Marmite' but nicely put together. It was a good jumble, quite a lot of Greeves stuff and a couple of reasonably priced 2T powered road bike projects, Norman and Ambassador.

I have since heard that both bikes are owned by Steve Cridge (not sure if h is a GRA member). The sidecar outfit with AMC/Villiers 1H engine is a 1960 24TCS, quite a lot of engineering required to fit the Villiers top end onto an AMC 25T bottom end. The NSU engined bike a 1961 24SCS Hawkstone frame.Last edited by John Wakefield; 25/11/2023, 07:05 PM.
