This will be held on Monday, 1st September at Ibsley on the New Forest. This really is a good, nostalgic event, particularly if you are at a loose end during the day! See info below received from Mike Jackson:
PERCE SIMON TRIAL REUNION. 2014.
This year's gathering will be on Monday 1st September at Ibsley Village Hall, approx 5 miles north-east of Ringwood, Hampshire (BH 24 3NL).
Doors will be open from 11am until 5.30pm and all "off road" enthusiasts are welcome.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are free all day, but we suggest you bring a packed lunch (otherwise, there are pubs nearby).
An "entry fee" of £2.50 per head will be charged to cover our expenses, and all surplus funds are given to the local MacMillan and Naomi House Hospices.
As usual, an OPTIONAL walk of about 4 miles on the New Forest will set off at 1pm, led by Penny Page, herself a previous competitor. She will point out some of the famous old Perce Simon sections, from when it was run on Forest ground.
Those who prefer not to walk will be able to sit in the hall and chat to old friends, or to view the interesting bikes that many people bring along, in the large car park just outside.
