I have just seen an entry list for an ACU South Midland Centre Trial dated 9-03-1969. Obviously, the Spanish influx had started, but out of 170 entries, Greeves was the overwhelming choice, with over double the 28 Bultaco entries.

Interesting to see the two Scimitar bikes entered. These were built by Cambridge Matchless Club member Edgar Stearn of Cambridge. He built 2 with Tiger Cub engines and one (according to a post on Trials Central forum) with Ossa engine.
