  • East Coaster in Malvern

This pic from Malvern History Page on Facebook shows an East Coaster parked outside Quality Cleaners in Church Street, Malvern, probably in the 1960's/70's. The bike registered with a Worcester mark EFK881C does not appear on survivors list or indeed the DVLA web site. That series of number were issued in April 1965 and the bike would almost certainly have been sold through Eric Williams of Worcester. Looking at the DR records for East Coasters Williams took delivery of 25DC364B on 2/4/65 (note record shows it 1964 but that's obviously a typing error as other bikes before and after it were all dispatched in '65) Williams did not take delivery of any more EC's till 30/6/65, 29/10/65 & 10/6/66 so these are too late to have been the bike in the pic. The comments on the entry for 25DC364B state Black, full width Hubs an Low Bars, EFH881C has low bars!
So does anyone recognise EFK881C as there old bike, looks well used in the pic.
