I have a number for him, and have left a message to ring me back on his voicemail. Meanwhile I rang Talon again, speaking to a different person, They do have details of the sprocket, and originally made a batch for Richard Deal. They will do a one-off, but would prefer not to! It will take about 4 weeks, and cost around £50 +vat & postage.

I have spoken to Richard Deal, he has some; Talon of course; and is sending me one. £53, + postage, no vat. Sorted. He also has sprockets for the later models, and apparently a very good exhaust for the Griffons, if anyone needs one? Plus various other parts. 01263 734688.

It was John that ran the machine shop and Jane that I spoke to when ordering my sprockets. Evidently they attended most of the bike shows as The Chain Gang, so it is that John who has passed away. I will miss their friendly service for a customer so far away.
