Can't find any mention of a gasket on right hand side of the crankshaft, I presume there should be one? Traces of silicone there when I stripped it.
Also why is there a threaded hole running right through on top of the engine? Pics attached.

    Cheers, John.

Hi John There is no gasket just the seal in the back of the flywheel backplate. You just put gasket paste on the face to make a good seal. The threaded hole is so u can attach a cover over the hole in the cases

        Good morning.
Doesn't the hole allow fuel to drain out the cavity under the carby ?
I threaded mine and added an alloy cover.
