  • Griffon clutch bearing.

Does anyone know the size of the bearing in the griffon clutch?

    Thanks,
    Dave.

    David, Bearing is a 6005. 25x47x12 I use a 60052RS and remove one seal. Simply Bearings, Koyo £5.27 +vat, £4.05 +vat without seals. Dogsbody

Thanks Colin. Now I know that a roller type bearing won't fit. Nobody makes one that size. That bearing is still the weak spot in an otherwise good clutch. A standard ball race should not be subjected to axial load. The more the gears are changed when using the clutch lever the quicker that bearing gets more slop in it.

Hope you are in good fettle.

      Regards,
      David.
