Can anyone advise please on the thread size used for the tank badge on a steel tank on a 24DC roadster. I'm sure I saw this information on the forum but cannot now locate it. Thanks, BillD.

Yes it has been covered search for Tank badge screws (http://www.greeves-riders.org.uk/for...Screws#post910).
The screws you need for aluminium cast tank badges (as fitted to many Greeves models) are actually known as 'Instrument Head' (slightly domed head and countersunk), and the full spec is;
1/8" BSW x 3/8" 40TPI. -
