  • Tri Greeves seen at Battlesbridge Sept 2015

The front alloy beam is from a 1957 20D roadster (frame No 8354/20D) but rear frame & wheels from later trials or scrambles models (rear hub looks light weight AMC James / Francis Barnett). First registered 23 Oct 2014 as a Tri/Greeves Special. Is it owned by a GRA member? (Photo Bob Lovelock)

What is the component seemingly attached to the gearlever and where is the oil tank?

The oil tank is the round thingy under the front of the seat, trying to look like an air filter & tother is a remote to bring the gear lever to the rear, if you look carefully, you can see the foot lever just level with the swing arm pivot.
Seen it a few times, but of course it reverses your gear selection direction......

Brian...the component seemingly attached to the gear lever is the gear lever....heel and toe variety.....and the oil tank is where the oil tank is.....(hint, why has the tool box got hoses coming out of it at the bottom, and a filler cap....

What I wanna know is.....where's the wibble trunnion gangle spigot adjuster.....

Really nice looking Grumph, by the way.....!

        Brian.

YES....I think that motor needs a bit more oil than that tiny "air-filter" thingy! I would not ride it far, or fast, with that set-up.
