Sold by Bonhams at Stafford in 2013. Was this a genuine ISDT bike, (one of the Army ones used in the 75 ISDT). Or something someone has made up from a scrambler?
Frame number is 60 N 188 Reg No XFW 119J
In order, my suspicions only, No No No, probably a proto or an import, but if anyone knows better, please tell us! I probably would have bought if it was a private sale at a reasonable price.....
The Model 60 is a 250. Anyway, look at the engine.
The Griffon Enduro is a recognised 1971 Greeves model. It was made for the US market, and was probably a Nick Nicholson specification. Both the 250 and the 380 were finished in red metalflake. Desirable bike.
Paul and Steve Gollings have got one; it was at the Newark Show last January.
