In the thread Archives & Historical Information http://www.greeves-riders.org.uk/for...splay.php?f=26
There will over the years have been articles in Leading Link there is an Index on the main web site http://www.greeves-riders.org.uk/att...A-e76fcf29.pdf
Obviously you would then need to obtain a copy of the relevant issue, some back issises are available from the club but some of the older copies are now difficult to find.
On another tack you could try Mortons Archive as they hold copies of magazine articles particularly from The Motor Cycle & Motorcycling.

I have to say that I find this response to a new member's enquiry somewhat irritating, especially considering that I have spent so much of my time and effort since the forum went live in scanning and posting many of these rare and out of print Greeves articles for the benefit of GRA members already, as have others....and not so much of them as a mention here....

As such, I have just spent the last three (plus!) hours painstakingly trawling through the forum digging as many of them out as I could find (forty plus links, so far...) to be able to collate them all into one place, and have posted a new thread with direct links to the articles here; http://greeves-riders.org.uk/forums/...ead.php?t=6407

I was going to add not to bother with all that Craig, and go straight to the new thread instead....but I can see that you've already found it. Hope you enjoy reading them.

      Brian.

The member asked if the club had a list of historic articles from mags news papers etc. & thats what I gave him. As most of the postings in that thread are those written by yourself Brian I dont see the problem. There was no need for you to have made a new thread for them.

Perhaps these articles need their own headline in the main menu page, rather than being on the Forum.

            'Important' Greeves Information Threads etc....

Fair suggestion Brian, but the thing is, where do you stop.....

A few examples of what I mean....

Greeves Metalastic Fork Bushes-Removal and Replacement.

Rare and Historic Greeves Related Films From The British Pathe Archive.

            Greeves Factory Brochures.

Greeves Frame Spacer Info - Post #1 of 3 (More to follow.)

            Greeves 'Factory Spare Parts Lists'

            Greeves Hub Drawings.

A few of these are 'stickies', meaning they are always at the top of the forum 'area' main page (i.e. 'GRA Member Chat' or whatever) as, I would argue, most are 'crucial' info, especially for anyone new to Greeves or taking on a restoration project. The above examples are also, and quite rightly, posted in the GRA Members only area(s) of the forum, apart from the British Pathe Film Archive Greeves thread which is 'public domain' anyway.

However....all this stuff is 'searchable' after all (for those that can use the forum tools), but for now I've created a dedicated thread for the articles, as no doubt you'll have already seen. Hopefully Colin will pick it up and make it a 'sticky'.....
