    Hybrid scrambler?

Festive Greetings from across the pond, Phil.
I am no expert (although I was "brought up" and riding scrambles in the era in which this bike was produced) but it looks to me like it probably started out as a UK-pattern 24MDS, circa 1962/63, but now with a Challenger-pattern barrel and head (with Mikuni? carb in place of the standard Amal) on the original Villiers bottom half, and a modified Challenger-routed exhaust system.
Back-brake foot pedal has been modified, a (non-used) bracket for a brake cable echoes more Challenger detail, and the bike also sports the Bickers-pattern high-lift handlebars often fitted to the MDS to compensate for the low crown of the front forks.
Front wheel looks to be the 21" size fitted as standard for the UK, and the fuel tank the UK-standard polished-alloy pattern but over-painted, perhaps to hide dent-filling measures applied?
Front mudguard assembly and crankcase guard are non-standard fitments for the UK production model 24MDS. Footrests have been modified to fold in accordance with present day regs.
Could do with an air filter box!

Can you give the frame numbers of the 3 bikes it would then be possible to identify them (or at least what the frames started life as)
