      650 triumph good engine when set up i use to supply rodger neal with
      av gas 10.000 rpm t100 !

        I was thinking more of the weight & the fact its a scrambler going over jumps,
        Beams have been known to break on original Villiers engined bikes.

          Isn't this the bike that Steve Humphreys built? I'm sure I've seen it previously somewhere years ago......

          its a physically bigger engine than the BSA A65 lump but not sure about the difference in engine weight between the two.

          It is a clever installation though......

          Head steadies, substantial engine mount at the rear and frame triangulation are order of the day with this kind of special.
