  • How do I access the factory records ?

    Hello there,
I bought a Roadster recently and it has no paperwork,
I have joined the club so can someone tell me how to access the factory dispatch records.
    My bike is a 59/ 2892 with a Villiers 1H
    Single from a 1956 Sun so it's a "Greevesun 225"
I've got it running now so I want to get it registered with DVLA
As I will use it for gentle greenlanes.
    Regards
    Steve

You need to Contact John Collard by PM (druid on the forum) he is the club dating officer who can issue a dating certificate for which there is a charge. You may have to join club first if you have not already done so (you are still listed as a 'basic member') You will need to register it as a Greeves. DO NOT attempt to register it as a Greevesun 225, the DVLA will require a single vehicle approval if you do, and you dont need to go down that route. I can tell you from my own records that the bike was originally a Greeves 25DB Sports twin.
