Looking at the prices being ask by several dealers in the old bike mart this month, I decided to take a closer look at a couple of the adverts, on blowing up a certain TES picture (no i don't mean literally) the picture portrays a TDS round swing arm, and a square barreled ?? engine being £6,000 asking price the mind boggles, on Saturday i i looked at another TES with a tag of £4,000 at a shop near to me , on inspection of the number at the top of the frame that locates the frame number had been ground down on the nearside and not concaved as the other side and a very odd number stamped on it i should have taken the reg number ,but i was getting dissaproving looks from the garage proprietor who is about to sell it on behalf of a client.!! we have to be very wary and club members are best to do a good check and try and get as much info as possible before a purchase, we all have club records to try and get the utmost info. not like the poor blighters who go in blindfolded
