Does anyone have a diagram/dimensions/photograph/original of the competition exhaust for the 9E Villiers powered machines circa 1955/56? I assume it will be a megaphone type. I want it for my 1956 HJH - not for competition, just for show. For competition in the pre60 class, I can get away with an expansion chamber, so long as it follows the same general lines used by HJH machines and is suitably silenced.
I used to race a 197 James in the day, fitted with a megaphone exhaust, but even though I loved the noise then, it won't work today.
I want to fit the correct exhaust to show how they really would have competed in the 50s. And I want to start it up and listen to that incredible racket.
Cheers, Mike
